Their politics - My position

The movements of the Government and Ministers.

Do I have to fill you in on the many discrepancies between good govenance and current practice?

Failures include - Inability to manage responsibilities, this systemic weakness affects every department. It also happens when ministers have their own agenda or are not sophisticated enough to operate sytems creatively, which means they can't learn from their mistakes.

Lying Once departments or ministers fail the first act is to set up some means of deflecting attention, diverting responsibility until everyone has ducked the issue, life goes on. Lies about how best we are governed or what is best for communities, the political agenda seems grotesquely different from the social agenda. Lying about their own interests and the way their power is used.

Corruption by allowing BIG chemical companies to suppress information about the drugs they sell us. By corrupting information to suit their own purposes, like what happened over the Iraq War. Allowing corrupt councils to operate policies that ignore the needs of local communities and create many social problems while, making it easy for investors to realise profits from the venture. By all this corruption an individuals own value of life is depreciated, life doesn't mean what it could.

Dishonesty Creating false arguments to prove the points they want to make, so that they can lever the changes they have planned. This is happenning with the International Convention of Human Rights, the government are allowing laws to be applied so that the public imagine that 'Human Rights' are ridiculous ideas that need changing for our own safety. I guarantee that your freedom is at risk unless we rise against this tide.

Human Rights mean we've all got the rights of the free people of the land. Abuse the freedoms' of the people of the land and you give up those rights. It's an injustice that allows a child in the world to die from hunger, while the life of a paedophile is saved, in the hope of change.

Dishonety in the way ministers avoid questions, and the workings of the political machine are kept from the attention of the public , this is in collusion with the media magnates. Remember, it's in everyone's financial interests to keep people servile. A person in a greater state of nervous tension makes a better consumer.

Here's a little snippet of what BIG business has been up to recently, it's sourced from 'ecologist', well done Zak Goldsmith and Co. Oh, don't forget this is all done with government blessings...

New findings about how Avian Flu has spread
Seems the spread of 'Avian Flu' is not spread through backyard production or migrating birds, it's path has been linked to the trade routes for Multi-national Industrial producers. Government science advisors have just backed Industry calls for small growers to become aligned with these multi-nationals. Strange...

Oil profits
Since the War in Iraq oil prices have risen 317%, America invests heavily in oil and profits from all trade on oil as, by Law deals are done in dollars. By law a man should have the right to choose...

Wierd Science
Lord Sainsbury who is Science Minister, the man who partly funded the Sainsbury Labatory at the John Innes Institute (Research). He also chairs a charitable body that funds science.
His science is mostly GM foods, remember he's also heir to the Sainsbury 's fortune, the supermarket giants..
Well now it's up and running, of course, he's done some funding and the Government, against popular opinion, allowed GM trials, good for Sainsbury's science. Now after funding part of his lab and government investment rising 3000% in this field of study, mainly at Sainsbury's lab, this area of science is promising profitable yields. If so, we will have funded Sainsbury's research which will make him profits as he sells this science back to us - wird huh?

Faulty Faculty's
Many science faculty's are funded/sponsored by corporations that have interest in such areas, Monsanto in GM foods and GSK in pharmeseuticals. Well it seems studies that disprove the claims these corporartions make about their products get shelved and the data manipulated to look good.

All this doesn't seem like good governance to me, you or I could do better right?

What is this life if not our most intimate expression of what we value most?

It seems strange to contemplate the world today, and find it as it is. Last night I began to read a book about the life of Ilya Ehrenburg, a Russian poet who lived through the revolutions and two world wars. His life is an extrodinary tale so far, I'm only on page 58!

I found this piece quite interesting, and it is probably responsible for my sombre contemplations.

"Some people tell us that we are being ruled by all-powerful men - by the Kaiser and Lloyd George, by diplomats, by generals and stock exchange magnates. I wish it were so. They are, after all, only human beings. Each one has the same pulsating organ under the left-hand pocket of his waistcoat. When they were children they all played games, and one day each of them will die. But this war is not being waged by humans. Today, I saw our true masters; endless chains of lorries, transporting men to the front, taking the wounded to the rear, carrying bread and carcasses of meat. The soldiers are merely the slaves of that machine. They serve it and feed it with their bodies. When I first saw a tank, I was perturbed: it was majestic and loathsome, archaic and ultra-American, a combination between Noah's Ark and a twenty-first century bus. Inside were twelve miserable pygmies, who naively imagined that they were controlling it."

It was written while he reported from the French front-lines in the great war. Today, the same war rages with different machines. Without soldiers on which to feed it is the people the population, who suffer wars terror.

The sea of violence that swept into Iraq is the chaos that is called Modern Democracy, an insip devaluation of culture, reason and meaning. The US and Uk, my home country weave their own political webs of deceit, that bind all civilisation . Democracy is fast becoming a fringe activity of the human/social movement...we're not an apathetic populus, just disillussioned, led astray from our own moral sense. Led by the nose to become what we despise, in the eyes of our children.

The Industrial Democracy is without the finnese to appeal to our senses, so it drowns out any difference to it's uniform rhythm. De-sensitised, people don't care any more just as long as the tastes, the sights and sounds are not overbearing. But the feeling, the feelings change.

I can't find it in me to support this emotional turmoil I call my homeland, I'm thinking it's time we, the people ruled our own hearts and minds.
To live by honest will, by a true justness and purpose. What need then of order if we can govern our own freedom by talking amongst ourselves and not paying some weak opportunist who'll sell out our rights for personal gain, power and privalege?

Look at today and all it reflects are the advertisements to consume and be consumed. To desire and not to question the purpose of that desire but to live it like it was real.

The conditions of reality are imposed through work and the dreams we are inspired to buy. Advertisers and retailers are staging an offencive, against our senses and sense of humanity. As well as being fed all the artficial additives and stimulants, we are fed the idea that we should ridicule alternative movements, ridicule alternative choices.

That's why I've decided to take my government to court, the best part of this is they sincerely believe they're taking me to court for non-payment of tax, they aren't going to believe their ears when the performance starts...

Thought for the day: There's no future in profit.
